Thomas Danis, Jr.
Tom Danis, Jr. is a Managing Partner and co-founder of RCP. He leads the manager research and investment sourcing function of the Firm, is a member of the Investment Committee, and serves as an Advisory Board member of various underlying funds. His responsibilities include the evaluation, monitoring and ongoing relationship management of private equity fund managers. Tom has been involved in the private equity industry for over 18 years. Prior to founding RCP, Tom was a Director of Aon’s Financial Sponsors Practice, where he was responsible for advising companies on financial, legal, and risk management issues surrounding the due diligence, structuring, and valuation of transactions primarily from a liability perspective. Tom earned his BS in business administration from the University of Colorado. Tom serves on the board of the Children’s Memorial Hospital Foundation and is a director of the Evans Scholars Foundation. He is also a board member of the Illinois Venture Capital Association as well as a member of the Executive Committee of the Small Business Investors Alliance. He is an active member of The Economics Club of Chicago, Young Presidents Organization, The Association for Corporate Growth, Chicago Area Limited Partners Association (CALPA), and The Commonwealth Club of Chicago.‹ Back to Team
